About us

Leading the way in providing Quality ENT Care

Since our founding in 1998, MENTS Hospital has built a solid reputation for being the most advanced ENT care and service center in India. At MENTS Hospital we take a great deal of pride in the quality of care we provide and our range of programs and services – all designed to meet the needs of the patients, families, and communities we serve. Our dedicated physicians, nurses, support staff, and volunteers continually work to improve the health status of everyone we treat, and to fulfill our mission of providing professional excellence with personal concern.

Ear, nose and throat surgery is a unique specialty where a broad range of diseases will be encountered in patients of all ages: from a baby with a threatened airway, to an elderly man with extensive throat cancer. The skills needed to treat our patients are also diverse, ranging from microsurgery to treat middle and inner ear conditions to major surgery of the head and neck. Rhinoplasty, ear tube insertion, adenoidectomy and tonsillectomy are only some of our surgical procedures.

Facilities and Infrastructure

The ENT OPD has an average attendance of about 50 patients a day. OPD services are run everyday (Monday to Saturday).
The department conducts elective and emergency surgery throughout the year. About 1000 major and minor surgeries are done yearly. In addition to the routine ENT surgeries, advanced endoscopic skull base surgery, phonosurgery and oncosurgery is done on a regular basis.
The department has a dedicated audiology and speech therapy unit. About 1000 audiograms and 500 speech therapy sessions are conducted every year.
A specialised weekly clinic for diagnosis and management of voice disorders is conducted. It facilitates speedy and accurate diagnosis of voice disorders. Treatment is planned by the ENT surgeon and the Speech therapist on the spot.
MENTS is conducting a weekly oncology clinic to cater to the needs of head and neck cancer patients. Patients coming to the OP with head and neck cancers are evaluated in detail and plan of action formulated. The patients requiring surgery are operated at the earliest while those requiring chemotherapy and radiotherapy are referred to suitable centers.
The ENT Department conducts medical camps for clinical examination and audiological evaluation at various centers in the city.
As part of its endeavour to bring the latest and advanced medical care to the common man, MENTS has started the voice clinic and oncology clinic. MENTS has acquired the latest equipment and expertise for conducting these special services. These clinics provide an excellent opportunity to train young doctors in the latest trends and concepts.
MENTS conducts an annual workshop on Endoscopic Sinus Surgery which attracts delegates from all over the country every November-December. The workshop aims to provide solid foundation in Endoscopic Sinus Surgery for young ENT surgeons. Over the years it has gained a reputation for its excellent faculty, hands-on dissection on fresh cadavers and impeccable organisation.
The department trains UG and PG students in the OPD and OT and also via classes, lectures, demonstrations, seminars etc.
